Met a man today who has an unusual hobby. He and a friend go running, at night, in Melbourne's closed water catchments for 30km with head torches. Takes about 3 hours. Then they record their runs on a site Strava.com Tonight it's Maroondah reservoir.

Went to the nearby Yuonga road Warburton Yarra Ranges National Park carpark and picnic area yesterday. It's a nice spot to enjoy the views and go for a walkalong the O'Shannassy Aqueduct trail.
A place that is not mentioned much in tourist brochures anymore is Mathinna Falls Healesville. It's to the west of the Black Spur Road and in the Maroondah closed water catchment. There is an upper and lower Mathinna Falls.
