What a perfect early Spring afternoon........for flyfishing. Went to Warburton to try my luck and caught a brown trout for dinner on a dry fly didn't even get my feet wet.
The temperature was 24 degrees today so I went trout fishing for an hour just when there is a nice afternoon sun on the Yarra. The water was cold and no fish were seen but the highlight was observing and taking pictures of a young Koala on the ground.
Twenty six degrees with still air means a quiet hour fly fishing just as the sun sinks on the horizon. The water was fairly clear and not too deep for springtime.
