Taking a look at my laminated Warburton to Walhalla via Yarra Falls and the Baw Baws map this afternoon.
Around 20 mm of rain overnight a day ago kind of messed up and blocked the water supply to the bush camp's water tanks.
Until recently there were some beautiful willow trees growing along the Yarra next to the Yarra Ranges Bush Camp that was until Melbourne Water ruined things.
Mount Donna Buang tower used to have a couple of nice panoramas and maps to let you know what you were looking at
A drive around Lake Mountain area in early 2010, almost a year on from the Black Saturday bush fires
I went for a walk in part of the forest of the bush camp, a part I hadn't been too for many years and this is what I saw this morning
A view of Boobyalla from Mount Donna Bung tower in 2007. The mountain range in the background, the Poley range was badly burnt 2 years later
Photos of a drive I made in 2009 along the Reefton Spur first looking at the Armstrong Valley and then driving on to Cambarville and showing the after effects of the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires. Some of these areas were actually burnt after that day
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
