I've been reading a new book "Melbourne's Water Catchments Perspectives on a World Class Water Supply" and apparently, acording to this book, there is a secret hidden tunnel above O'Shannassy Aqueduct that was built during World War 2 to store important documents from Melbourne. I wonder if anyone has gone looking for this tunnel?
Seventy years ago on Sunday the RAAF flew over many parts of the Yarra Valley and took exceptionally detailed air photos. This is the one covering Warburton and Millgrove.
A Brown Yarra. It was 30 degrees on Sunday with wonderful Blue sky. It hadn't rained much for several days so the Yarra should have been nice to fish. Nope. Melbourne Water was releasing lots of water from Upper Yarra dam and that turned the river below
